Shed Fire in National Park, NJ
A residential home in New Jersey called had a fire in their shed. The fire started from the ride on lawn mower. Since it was such a confined area, it affected most of the contents within the shed. The lawn mowers, a bike hanging from the rafter, a stand up tool box, radio and speakers, and other yard work items. To remove the ride on lawn mower, we used our box truck with a lift. We started by setting up staging areas to put the contents on when we removed them from the shed. While we were removing the contents, we had one of our technicians logging each piece for inventory. They were categorized by salvageable vs non-salvageable. The structure was sponged inside, vacuumed and swept of any fallen debris. We provided touch ups and then sealed the structure, as pictured in our PPE. Our customer was happy with our work getting the structure cleaned along with the contents.
