Hurricane Flood in Kitchen
When hurricanes come to town, they visit everyone's home and business. The hurricane waters flooded this residential home in New Jersey. After the water was cleared out, we were able to assess the damage done. Since the flood line was so high, we had to cut out at least three feet of dry wall from the floor up throughout the first floor of the house. The insulation behind the dry wall was saturated and had to be completely removed. The tile flooring in the kitchen had to be removed as well as the flooring in the rest of the first floor of the home. Kitchen appliances such as the refrigerator, dishwasher, and stove were taken out to the debris pile, as they had water damaged within.
