Kitchen Fire
The fire started in kitchen affecting majority of the kitchen while the smoke and odor traveled throughout the house. The homeowner was cooking something and walked outside for a minute. It was then that they heard something crackling from inside. In a panic, the homeowner used the hose from the sink to put out the fire. Not only was there fire, smoke, and soot damage... now there is water damage involved. When our team came in to clean up, we removed the top kitchen cabinets and demolished the bottom cabinets. The homeowner asked us to keep the sink in tact for reuse. We bagged up the debris and disposed of it in our trucks. Dry wall had to be teared out because of the excessive damage. Air scrubbers were placed and vapor sharks were placed to remove the odor. Once the walls were down to the joists, they were sealed.
