Mold Damage in Philadelphia University Dorm
This University dorm in Philadelphia had mold damage throughout the walls, baseboards, and on the couch cushions. The cause of this source was coming from another floor in this building and caused damage there also. Our team came in and HEPA (high-efficiency particulate air)vacuumed the walls and baseboards, along with the couch cushions. Everything was then wiped down with sporicide, and HEPA vacuumed again to prevent any more microbial growth. We checked the walls after by testing with our meters to see if there was any more moisture. An air scrubber was left on site for two days because of the extent of the mold. The air scrubber collects the negative air, but does not push back out through the machine to prevent any more spread of mold growth.
