Sump Pump Failure
A residential home called for an extraction in their basement. The cause of the loss was the result of a circuit breaker that was connected to a sump pump which caused the failure and ended up flooding the entire basement. We plugged the sump pump into an extension cord to get it back up and running for the time being while we were extracting with our equipment. A pod was ordered due to the customer having a great amount of contents needing to be moved around. Once the contents were cleared, we were able to cut the drywall a foot high from the floor to treat the area behind it. The customer also had area rugs that were cleaned. For the drying process, there were 10 air movers and 2 dehumidifiers set up.
